The Associazione Piemontesi nel Mondo of Northern California
had a very successful event on October 30, 2004 with the AIHA, Western
Regional Chapter. The program was held at the Rockridge Branch of the
Oakland Public Library and featured a discussion on the subject of "The
Italian Family Business: Artisanal Food in the Modern Economy."
Piemontesi nel Mondo of Northern California member, Dr. Loretta
Graziano Breuning, professor of International Business at Cal State
Hayward, and Frank Peluso, owner of Peluso Cheese of Los Banos, CA (the
inventor of Teleme cheese), led a lively discussion. Refreshments,
