Piemonte, one of Italy's twenty regions, is located in northwestern Italy. Long known for its famous wines and industry, Piemonte is also the ancestral land of the House of Savoy and is blessed with fabulous scenery, superb cuisine, glorious art and architecture, and important religious landmarks.

The Associazione Piemontesi nel Mondo is a non-profit public benefit educational foundation whose goals are to promote the study, awareness, and appreciation of the Piemontese heritage. The Associazione is a worldwide organization with numerous chapters located in over twenty countries within five continents. Membership is open to all, irrespective of gender or regional or national origin.

La Sacra di San Michele stands on Monte Pirchiriano in the province of Torino as a guardian of faith and tradition, whose ancient walls lord it over the Susa Valley. In 1994, the Regione Piemonte designated the Sacra as the great symbol of Piemonte.
